Junior Manners Academy
Grades K-6 and High School Students
Are social skills really that important in a child's overall education? Confidence in their ability to engage with others in a meaningful way by making others feel valued and welcomed paves the way for social and emotional growth. Social skills can be learned and practiced. Psychology research studies show our engagement when learning teaches our brain the meaning of the task. For example, slouching creates a feeling of boredom and telegraphs indifference to the situation and the reactions of others.
