WHAT DO YOU DO?
Mimi McCroskey is an etiquette scholar and teacher. Her background includes earning a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, and a varsity letter in tennis during her college years. She was a legislative aide and has experience working in political campaigns. As someone who enjoys competitive games like tennis, squash and chess, Mimi gained valuable skills and knowledge through her coaches guidance. Mimi was inspired by her coaches and later found that she too, has a knack for coaching. She finds her success as an etiquette teacher highly rewarding because of the surprising ways in which social skills, etiquette and manners help people overcome obstacles, greet challenges fearlessly, develop leadership skills, and achieve their goals with confidence and class.
Mimi McCroskey started Bridges School of Protocol because she believes that no form of social life can exist without etiquette and manners. How we present ourselves, speak to others, and engage with our surroundings can make or break the initial connection that leads to an important relationship. Mastery of social fundamentals prepares people to meet new social challenges with confidence and high self-regard.
We design etiquette courses that help people stop second guessing themselves and learn how to operate with confidence in a world where old rules of propriety don't fit the social situations we are likely to encounter today. Acquiring social skills requires that we step away from our screens and interact face-to-face. Bridges School of Protocol courses in interpersonal skills impart the basics of personal and social communication. By learning etiquette in both casual and formal settings, people are able to find deeper, more fulfilling relationships. Students learn techniques for cultivating important social skills and mastering personal etiquette.
